The '''AK-47''' is an automatic, ranged weapon, deals a total of 15 damage per shot (unmodified).
It is similar to the M16 but deals three more damage and shoots a bit quicker than the M16 making it a slight upgrade to the M16 itself.
The '''AK-47''' is one of the best weapons to obtain and use in-game, its damage per second is only surpassed by the Minigun. It is very useful for killing Frenzied Giants, against Raiders and AI Survivors, and destroying Turrets in Bunker Alfa's lower floors.
The effective range of an unmodified '''AK-47''' is similar to that of the unmodified M16s, Mini Uzis, Winchesters and Glock 17s.
Obtaining
In Bunker Alfa, the '''AK-47''' can be found on Level 1 (underground lobby) level 2, 3, and 4th floors (with and without hardmode activated) and also when opening the yellow, and red coupon crates. (Green crates can still contain them, but there is an extremely rare chance to find one inside.) (The majority of the time you will find a Glock 17 inside).
Some AI Survivors may also carry '''AK-47''''s (Rare chance 18% chance outside of rest stop events), can also be found in red resource zones after killing an AI survivor, or a random loot box (more rare chance to find it in a loot box).
Can be found in Weapon Crates (extremely rare chance) (true fact)
When Tungsten Bar, andAsh Plank are both added in-game, the AK-47 will be craftable
